Make the most of your Spring wedding

Bridal wedding chocolate by Delysia Chocolatier

Between Winter and Summer lies a beautiful Spring, plentiful with beautiful brides. Delysia Chocolatier is preparing fresh inspired chocolate treats for the season to come. Spring brides are readying themselves for their special day, and grooms are double-checking the details. With all the wedding planning madness, it becomes easy to forget the small things. Delysia is here to help with some quick tips to make the most out of your special day.

Let’s address the obvious

Spring weather is unpredictable. With sunny days, chilly nights, and a chance of rain you can never be too prepared for the unknown. Consider choosing a venue that is both indoor and outdoor to give yourself and your guests a few options and anticipate every possibility. Although, if it does rain on your wedding day, many cultures consider this good luck. Prepare for rain with umbrellas of your wedding colors or parasols for unbearable heat to accommodate your wedding guest.

Layers are everything. Whether you choose a sleeveless short dress or a long elegant gown, prepare for every scenario. If your wedding is outside, consider setting out some blankets in your wedding color for your guests in case it gets chilly later in the day. Check out these adorable knitted customizable blankets from West Elm that add a pop of color to your special day.

Embrace the season

The changing of the season brings a sense of rejuvenation, why not pair that with a crisp refreshing beverage that borrows from fruits that are in bloom. Prickly pear and watermelon are some of our Texas favorites, and not to mention aesthetically appealing. The Knot has created a spectacular list of seasonal cocktails assured to impress and refresh your wedding guests.

Be unique

Today is all about you and your betrothed, so let your personality shine. Personalize your wedding with personalized invitations, some of your local favorite foods, or monogrammed chocolate letters that add a personal touch and commemorate your special day.

Bring on the gifts
