Fall brings football season and tailgating!

With the cool weather of fall approaching and training camps beginning, we know that football is just around the corner. Of course one of the best things about football is the pre-game tailgate experience. Use this checklist to make your tailgate party just as amazing as your team.

  1. Beverages: Obviously, this is always highly recommended. Try getting creative with your drinks by making jell-o shots or other ideas! Gear up with an awesome cooler to keep your drinks chilled.
  2. Meat: With drinking and socializing comes extreme hunger. Light up your grill and have friends bring buns, burgers, and hotdogs to get you through your pregame tailgate! Do not forget the utensils, napkins, and plates because spilling ketchup on your team’s jersey is always a party foul. Enjoy a Tito's Vodka Delysia chocolate during your tailgating experience.
  3. Sweet treats: Never host a tailgate without having sweet treats. The perfect compliment to your chilled drinks and grilled hotdogs are Delysia Chocolatier’s Tito’s Handmade Vodka collection. It is an absolute touchdown for any pre-game party.
  4. Music and games: What is a tailgate without some music and games? If you’re looking for a great way to pump up the team spirit, try turning up this energetic playlist. It is also fun for everyone to throw the ball around, or play a quick game of corn hole or horseshoes.
  5. Outfits: Football season lasts all through fall and into the winter and tailgating can happen in all types of weather. Your outfits will need to be functional for rain, snow, or shine. Layer up your jersey or pair some cute rain boots with your team’s spirit shirt. If you feel that your winter clothes aren’t warming you up enough during the colder part of the season, sip on Delysia’s peppermint drinking chocolate.

  6. Team spirit: Food, charged electronics, drinks, and jerseys. You are set for your team’s big game day! Tip it off by adding extra team flare. You can rock your team’s colors in the forms of face painting, a team koozie, or decorating your cooler to match the mascot.

This checklist will make you a tailgate pro, so enjoy the relaxed atmosphere and meet new friends. Post your tailgate pictures after the winning game on our Facebook page!
