Join Delysia Chocolatier with our top chocolate expert, Nicole Patel, in collaboration with the top cheese expert, Laura Werlin, as you experience the far-reaches of the World displayed through the robust flavors of cheese and luxurious chocolate in this exclusive tasting experience.

Laura Werlin is the top expert on American artisanal cheese, the subject of her James Beard award-winning book. Laura is known for using her expertise and unique sense of humor to create interactive cheese pairing sessions. Delysia Chocolatier is delighted to have Laura join us for this experience pairing two specialty foods that are rarely tasted together- cheese and chocolate. Between Laura’s extensive knowledge of cheese and Nicole’s expertise in infusing truffles with unique ingredients, this tasting is designed to give you a window into the handcrafted world of sweet and savory fine foods.

    How our virtual tasting experiences work:
    At Delysia’s Virtual Chocolate Experience, customers will broaden their culinary palate as they explore aromatic and flavor profiles with our guided and systematic, immersive approach to tasting Delysia’s artisanal handcrafted chocolates. Enjoy 4 unique chocolate confections, paired with 4 cheeses while learning about the art of savoring gourmet chocolate, in the comfort of your own home.

    Receive chocolates directly shipped by Delysia Chocolatier. Cheese will be shipped directly by igourmet.

    Tickets must be purchased by Monday evening to allow us ample time to ship the chocolates to your doorstep. Store in your refrigerator or a cool dry place until the tasting, bringing them to room temperature at least 30 minutes before the virtual experience.

    Tickets to our virtual tastings can be purchased as soon as events become available online, in some cases weeks in advance. We will ship the chocolates once they are made, closer to the tasting date. Tickets to multiple virtual tastings can be purchased at the same time, as long as those tastings are no more than 2 weeks apart. If the virtual tastings are more than two weeks apart, please place separate orders as your order will need to ship separately, as the chocolates are made fresh for each tasting.

    Once the chocolates arrive, please remove them from the shipping box immediately, as they may have been shipped on ice. Store the chocolates in your refrigerator or a cool dry place until the tasting, bringing them to room temperature at least 30 minutes before the virtual experience.

    Instructions and the conference link will be emailed to you 24 hours before your tasting. PLEASE ENSURE that the participant’s email is registered for our newsletter (link in the footer of our website) and the email address nicole@delysia.com is added to your contact list. The link to the virtual tasting is sent via Mailchimp.

    Our virtual chocolate experience will last 45 minutes, followed by a 15 minute Q&A session. Our tastings are interactive, with attendee engagement and participation throughout the experience. If you have questions throughout the tasting, either type them on the screen or unmute to ask your question, as we love answering them real-time throughout the experience.

    With the ongoing crisis, our Tasting Room & Chocolate Boutique is currently closed to the public. Please join us for one of our virtual chocolate tastings or shop online. Our full product line of handcrafted chocolates are available online, shipped directly to your doorstep with FedEx.
