Notes from the Chocolatier: 9 year anniversary

Delysia9yearanniversaryAs we fall into the month of October, there are so many things to celebrate here at Delysia Chocolatier. First and foremost, we are extremely proud to surpass a milestone and dedicate the new month to our 9 year anniversary. It has been quite a journey from the start, but there is not a single event, partnership, idea or flavor that we would ever take back.

Every day I think of how fortunate I am to live in such a welcoming and supportive community. Launching a business on your own is a huge risk with no guarantees. From the beginning, local businesses, my family, friends and passionate chocolate lovers have given Delysia Chocolatier the support needed to flourish beyond my every expectation.

Our Partnership

This year, our team is proud to link arms with Gifting Care, a non-profit organization bringing support and care to patients from post upper-body surgery, and share our limited edition Breast cancer awareness collection chocolate truffles for purchase. Five dollars ($5) from every box purchased will be donated to Gifting Care in honor of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. These special Breast cancer awareness chocolate truffles make a great gift for someone who has won their fight and living cancer free or someone recently diagnosed.

Help us celebrate

During October, we will be hosting unique complimentary chocolate tastings every weekend to show our appreciation to our loyal customers. This is a great opportunity for you and your family to experience chocolate confections at it’s finest.

Please join us in celebrating with exclusively themed complimentary chocolate tastings.

Nicole Patel

Nicole Patel is the proprietor of and chocolatier for Delysia Chocolatier. In 2006 while pregnant with her first son, Nicole made a batch of chocolate truffles as holiday gifts. To the delight of friends and family, she continued to create chocolates as a way to relieve stress from her corporate engineering job. In 2008, a chance trip to Becker Vineyards led to Nicole being the first in Texas to make truffles using local wines. Within five years, what started as a hobby turned Delysia into one of the Top Ten Chocolatiers in the Americas, as selected by the International Chocolate Salon.
