National Walnut Day

Today is National Walnut Day; a day to celebrate one of the healthiest snacks out there. Walnuts have tremendous health benefits including brain health, weight control, and cancer fighting properties. A member of the tree nut family, walnuts have a history of being eaten dating back to 7000 B.C. Originally eaten by royalty in Persia, today walnuts are grown primarily in California and enjoyed by all. Walnuts can be eaten in a variety of ways including salads, spreads, and baked goods. An easy snack featuring walnuts is chocolate covered walnut halves; simply dip walnut halves into your favorite melted chocolate. Delysia Chocolatier Chocolate Barks elevate this simple snack into something truly delicious.

While Delysia Chocolatier does not have any products featuring walnuts, we do have many products featuring other tree nuts.
