Ask your bridesmaids with chocolate

Raise your hand if you’re recently engaged! I’m not, but I had many friends get engaged over the holidays. The period between Thanksgiving and Valentine’s Day seems to have more engagements than any other time of the year. Now that you’re engaged and starting to think about your special day it’s time to think about who you want to stand with you as you say “I do.” You only ask your bridesmaids to be part of your wedding once, so make it as fun as possible. Put together a little box of goodies with these four things to help them get into the spirit of celebration too!

1. Cute Note – You can find tons of cute invites on Etsy or search Pinterest to find a fun saying and make your own. It’s also great to write each girl a little something personal about why you want her specifically to stand by your side. Weddings are all about relationships, so it’s important to remind her why she’s special in your life when you ask your bridesmaids.
2. Nail Polish – Pick the color that you want your bridesmaids to wear on your big day! This way you can ensure they’ll all match and you’ll save them a trip to the store to find your favorite shade. Many brands even have special bridal collections.
3. Personalized Cup – Coffee mug, wine glass, travel cup; I believe you can never have enough. These will be perfect for your bridesmaids to use not just during wedding party activities, but even after your big day. A cute monogram ensures they won’t get mixed up when everyone is together.
4. Chocolate – This is the final touch for a fun and festive box to ask your bridesmaids. Asking your best girls to be there on your special day deserves special chocolates and Delysia Chocolatier is here to help. Each of our truffles are hand made featuring unique expertly paired flavor combinations so you can’t make a bad choice; however there are a few collections that I think are especially appropriate for such a festive occasion.

The award winning Wine Truffle Collection is never a bad choice! Featuring merlot, cabernet sauvignon, and port infused truffles these rich, decadent truffles are just as satisfying as a glass of your favorite wine. The Tito’s Handmade Vodka Truffle Collection is another great pick. Each of these Texas Sipper, Red Punch, and Bloody Mary truffles is infused with Tito’s Handmade Vodka and combinations of the ingredients of these celebratory drinks. Don’t let your guy’s groomsmen get left out of the fun. While they may not love personalized gifts or cute notes they will appreciate our artisan chocolates. Our Spirits Collection, featuring scotch, bourbon, and rum truffles, and our Prestige Collection, featuring champagne, dark chocolate, and cigar truffles, are both man approved treats.

Asking your wedding party to be part of your special day is one of the first steps in preparing for your wedding. We hope you’ll let Delysia Chocolatier be part of it.
